The NUUC Board of Trustees will convene the annual Congregational Meeting on Sunday, May 21, 2017 at 11:15 a.m. following the 10:00 a.m. worship service. The congregational meeting provides church members with the opportunity to affirm our Fifth UU Principle by fulfilling their role in church polity. Congregants will receive an annual report, elect next year’s lay leaders, and approve the 2017-2018 church budget.
Items of Business:
- Board of Trustees election
- Nominating Committee election
- Approval of the church budget for the fiscal year ending May 31, 2018.
If you cannot attend in person, you may vote by filling out an online proxy or by sending your proxy to Neighborhood Church, c/o Secretary, Board of Trustees, or by giving it to another member to vote on your behalf. Unless indicated otherwise, all proxies sent by mail will be voted by the Board of Trustees in favor of the Board’s and the Nominating Committee’s nominations and also in favor of the proposed budget. Only members of Neighborhood Unitarian Universalist Church are permitted to vote. Non-members are welcome to attend budget meetings and the congregational meeting.
