Look, Mum, No Car (gasp)!

Save the environment, save money, save time, get fit… ride a bicycle. Spend time with friends and family – create a bike club. Bike ride for fun, competition or commute with a bike. Reduce your carbon footprint, mitigate obesity, high blood pressure, diabetes … ride a bike.

This Green Council presentation will cover how, where and why to buy or rent a bicycle in Pasadena. What are the essential vs optional bike accessories? Where are the best places to ride? What about weather and safety? How do you maintain a bike?

Presenter, Steve Berman, is a hard core bicycle and public transportation enthusiast. He even rides at night from Arcadia to Neighborhood Church for choir practice. On the side (wink, wink) he’s a professional singer, voice teacher, choral conductor, and entrepreneur.

Come join us as we explore bicycle riding to church and elsewhere. The presentation will be held in the Neighborhood House living room between services, Sunday Feb 19th, 10:45-11:30 a.m. Contact Susette Horspool for more information.
