Neighborhood Unitarian Universalist Church wants to stay connected with our neighbors.

On this page you can learn about activities happening here at the church. Large events that may impact the surrounding neighborhood will be highlighted. Whenever possible, activities occurring at Gamble House and Westmoreland Academy will also be listed.  Amplified music is permitted at all events until 9:00 p.m.

COMMUNITY MEETING

Neighborhood Church – Ross Chapel

Please join members of the Neighborhood Church Board of Trustees and staff for a community conversation about our recent conditional use permit. We are looking forward to hearing your feedback and answering your questions in advance of our six-month review with the City of Pasadena.

11/14/16:  This is a courtesy notice to alert you to an upcoming Pasadena Pro Musica concert and reception on Sunday, December 18 from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m.  We anticipate 150 – 200 guests.  Off-site parking and parking monitors have been secured to lessen neighborhood impact.


10/6/16: This is a courtesy notice to alert you to the upcoming Pasadena Art Night on Friday, October 21 from 6:00 – 10:00 p.m.  A number of our local art and cultural institutions will be hosting free events and admission, along with shuttle bus services.  Parking and traffic around our area may be impacted. 10/03/16:  Sequoyah School will be hosting an open house on Saturday, October 29, 2016 from 1 p.m. – 4 p.m. Overflow parking has been secured at a neighboring facility and parking attendants will be onsite to direct traffic and parking. Sequoyah School will also email their guests a detailed map and directions of the parking lot protocol. Over 150 attendees are expected.

9/12/16: Please note the Gamble House will be hosting a number of large events in honor of their upcoming 50th anniversary:

Wednesday, Sept. 21 & Thursday, Sept.  22:  Anniversary Gala & Docent Wine Reception
Gamble House has made parking arrangements for guests.
Friday, September 23:  Initiatives in Arts & Culture Conference
Gamble House is using Neighborhood Church parking lot
Saturday, September 24 & Sunday, September 25:  Tours, events, and food trucks
Gamble House has arranged for parking at Rose Bowl with shuttle buses.

8/31/16:   Sequoyah High School classes will begin Thursday, September 1st.  During school hours, you will see new student drop off procedures for both Sequoyah and Fair Oaks Preschool.  Vehicles will enter the church lot from the north and exit to the south, turning left on Arroyo Terrace and  right onto Orange Grove Blvd.  Both schools have communicated this plan to all parents and ample staffing and signage will be in place to ensure compliance.  If you have any questions or concerns, please contact: Alyssa Bellew, abellew@neighborhooduu.org, 626.449.3470 x11
