Kathryn grew up in Madison, Wisconsin in a liberal episcopal environment where her mother was Arch Deacon and her father, the church organist. In the 90s, she attended film school at Columbia College in Chicago. After graduating, Kat worked as a camera assistant on film crews. After too many episodes of E.R. outside in the winter, she made the move to LA, immediately settling in Pasadena.
The advent of motherhood released her from the jaws of the entertaiment business. Now that Sofia is ten and Wesley is six, in addition to working here with us, Kat is also a portrait photographer and massage therapist. Kathryn and her children have found a true home here at NUUC and have been members for eight years.
