Candlelight Virgil for Peace
Located on the Labyrinth at 6:30pm
Many of us are grappling with the devastating events unfolding in Israel and Gaza this past week. Even as we may hold complex and contradictory feelings about how these events have come to pass, we mourn the suffering of our distant siblings, and we mourn that peace seems so far away. May we not turn away from the suffering of others, but may we also turn towards nurturing ourselves and our communities with justice centered in love.
If you would like a tender space to grieve, pray, or find solace with others in this complex time, please join us for an interfaith, multi faith candlelight vigil for peace on our labyrinth on Monday evening. Our time together will focus on contemplation and holding space for grief as we pray for peace. Members and friends of NUUC are invited, as well as members of other congregations, and the larger regional community.
