The Hope of Yule
On the shortest day and longest night of the year, Yule brings the return of the sun. Joy! We will celebrate the returning light of Yule (also known as the Winter Solstice) by manifesting our hopes and ringing in the new year. Join us as we light the Yule Log on the altar and in our hearts before sharing a seasonal potluck. If you have bells, bring your bells to welcome the warmer, brighter days. And, yes, there will be cake!
Bring:
* Songs: Any song suggestions post in the comments below. Try a week or so before so we can print them.
*Instruments: Whatever you play, and you can carry. Leave the baby grand at home. Oh, I think there is a baby grand already in the chapel.
*Altar: Items you wish blessed with this incredible energy.
* Mess kit: Plate, Cup, Eating Utensils, Napkin.
* Potluck Feast: Please let us know what you are bringing for the feast
Again, it is a potluck so please bring a potluck dish, a drink to share, and your mess kit. In keeping with loving Mother Earth, we choose to reduce waste by not providing paper products. Click Here for Yule baking recipes.
