Becoming a Member

Unitarian Universalism is a non-credal faith, instead we are covenantal. Becoming a member means joining in a covenant that places our values (love, justice, equity, transformation, pluralism, interdependence, generosity) at the forefront of our interactions with each other.

Your path Membership will include:

  • Attending Sunday Services
  • A commitment to our values
  • An individual meeting with Director of Community Engagement
  • An individual meeting with Senior Minister Rev. Omega
  • A financial pledge on file
  • Attending the New Member Ceremony
  • Signing the membership book

Several folks also find attending one of our “New to UU” classes, participating in any of our various groups, or reading materials offered to be helpful in choosing if Neighborhood Church is the religious community they wish to join. You can choose to become a member at any point during the year.

To learn more about becoming a member, contact Amy Brunell, Director of Community Engagement at abrunell@neighborhooduu.org
