On April 30th, 2023 members of Neighborhood Church voted YES to call Rev. Dr. Omega Burckhardt as our new settled Senior Minister. Rev. Omega will begin with us in August, 2023.

Rev. Dr. Omega has served as Assistant Minister at The First Unitarian Universalist Church of San Diego serving both their Hillside and South Bay campuses since 2021. Prior to that, she was the ministerial intern at The First Unitarian Church of Rockford, Illinois and at Olympia Brown Unitarian Universalist Church in Racine, Wisconsin. Rev. Omega received her Masters of Divinity from Meadville Lombard Theological School where she received the Faculty Award for Religious Leadership. Rev. Omega has been a Trustee of the UUA MidAmerica Region, Trustee of the First Unitarian Church of Milwaukee, and Chair of the MidWest Leadership School of the UUA. She currently serves as Board Member of the Spirit Foundation.
