Music Programs

Welcome to a place that is artistically inspiring, dynamically inclusive, and spiritually awake. Welcome to a place where music and the arts are vital to the fabric of worship. Welcome to Music at Neighborhood Church!

In all our music-making, we honor our commitment to musical excellence, interpersonal connection, and service to our community. We carefully select all hymns, anthems, and instrumental music accordingly in conjunction with our ministerial team. With a terrific music staff and various opportunities for musically-inclined church members and guests to participate in our performance groups, we are building a diverse and inclusive community where all musicians are cherished and uplifted.

Please see below for our programs and more information. If you want get involved but are not ready or able to join one of our music ensembles, please register here.

Neighborhood Chorus

Led by Dr. Zanaida Robles, this non-auditioned chorus is open to all adults with tuneful voices. Rooted in western classical music teaching and tradition, our repertoire consists of a wide variety of styles sung in various languages. Excellent aural skills (a good ear), classical choral experience, and/or basic sight reading skills are strongly encouraged. From September through May, the chorus rehearses every Thursday night from 7:15 pm-9:00 pm and sings at the 11:30 am service every other Sunday. New singers begin singing regularly for Sunday service after their first 2 rehearsals. Ages 15+ welcome.
