Youth Religious Education

Young Children: Infants, Toddlers & Preschoolers

Our program for young children is housed in our preschool building. This is a secure facility with a gated yard, which requires a code for entry. We request that newcomers seek out a staff member to help them get settled. We are always happy to help.

Childcare is available for all church services except for Christmas Eve. Childcare may also be available for other church events and activities upon request.
Our Childcare program has several goals. The first and most important is to provide a safe, warm, inviting and supportive atmosphere that both parents and children will enjoy. Our second goal is to encourage independence, creativity, and a sense of discovery and exploration. Each child will be encouraged to grow and find new ways to have fun and feel secure in new relationships.

The staff, supervised by our Director of Religious Education, include a number of paid caregivers and occasionally youth or adult volunteers from the congregation. Childcare is administered with a warm and caring spirit.

Neighborhood is pleased to provide this service and parents are encouraged to participate as volunteers or visit any time.
If you would like to request childcare for a church activity or event, or are interested in assisting in the Childcare program, please contact the Director of Religious Education.
